regardless of size and whether they operate in the Retail, Industrial, Commercial, or indeed any other business sector.

However Business crime is not a priority for the police and is not recorded in a manner that highlights the extent to which it may be a problem.

We are interested in any business that has been affected by crime or any individual affected by crime because of their employment.

Complete a Questionnaire thus helping us to ensure the relevant authorities know just what the problems are.

A recent survey showed that 94% of all businesses in the North East experienced crime over a 12 months period with 62% being repeat victims. For every crime reported up to 10 crimes went unreported.
